who I work with:

I help adults and teens (15+) with anxiety, ADHD and trauma to manage stress and navigate healthy relationships, so they can overcome shame, feel more confident, and be more connected with others. And if you are on the Autism spectrum or part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I will help you embrace your unique identity and strengths.

You long for successful, close relationships, but find yourself struggling to put yourself out there, and you wonder if you’ll ever be good enough. If you are a survivor of trauma or narcissistic abuse, you may be feeling disconnected from yourself and others, or your anxiety may be causing you problems. You may feel that having needs or wants of your own are not as important as what others want or need.

Many of my neurodivergent clients and/or those in the LGBTQIA+ community experience excessive worry or depression symptoms due to shame or loneliness, resulting in masking how you are feeling or who you are. Developing a healthy relationship with yourself and others when you are “different” can be a challenge. And if you are exploring polyamory, or are kink-curious, you may also be afraid of judgment.

You know that something needs to change, but you’re not sure where to start. If your feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, depression, and exhaustion are becoming too much, I can help.
how therapy with me can help you:
It might feel impossible to get to where you want – having someone to navigate the chaos with can help. Our work together will lighten the heavy weight of shame and allow you to lift the mask you’ve been wearing for so long. EMDR, a technique that I am trained in, may help you reprocess and work through old, stuck patterns, including trauma that may be affecting you in the present day - I can help you feel happy and fulfilled again. Together we can work on communication in your relationships while being true to yourself. Our time together will look like talking things out, building skills, and often, deep, wholesome laughs. I will be by your side, holding the torch as you figure out who you are and how to authentically be in the world.
about me:

As a survivor of trauma and loss myself, I empathize with the journey of healing. In my practice, there’s always room for authentic moments, significant discoveries, raw emotions, and genuine laughter. I too have had struggles in finding my identities – my work has encompassed research, veterinary medicine, and I was even an auto mechanic before I became a therapist. I completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regis University. I have special training in working with dreams and nightmares, as well as training in the Gottman Method for relationship counseling and EMDR for trauma, anxiety and depression treatment.

Outside of therapy, I love spending time camping, playing video games, reading, and dancing. You can also find me working on my cars, often with my two kitties hanging out in the garage with me!
