who I work with:

I help older teens and adults with anxiety, stress, and relationship challenges to find new ways of relating to yourself, your life experiences, and other people so you can find greater joy and authenticity in your everyday life.

You are feeling disconnected from the life you want to live and are ready to do something about it. The first step is usually the scariest, so kudos to you for seeking support! Navigating life as a human is not always easy and you might be experiencing challenges that feel overwhelming and out of your control. You may be struggling to manage stress, work through issues in your relationships, or break free from anxious thoughts and feelings. You are seeking a safe space to talk with someone who will listen with compassion and strive to understand your unique experience.

You might be feeling lost when it comes to setting boundaries, resolving conflict, or prioritizing your needs in relationships. I provide a welcoming space for you to safely explore what is causing you pain or difficulty and find a way forward so you can live your life with more ease and less suffering.

how therapy with me can help you:

You are feeling ready to work hard and invest in yourself, and I am here to support you. You are resilient and capable of lasting change, even when it feels impossible. Through our work together, you will connect with your authentic self and find greater alignment with things that matter most to you. Whether you’re navigating challenging emotions, stress, anxiety, or are looking to improve your relationships, I know that healing, growth, and change is possible for you!

Together, we will figure out where you want to go and how to get there. I trust that you have everything you need to move forward in the direction you want to go and I will be there to support you along the way. One of my favorite mantras is “Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional”. In life, you will undoubtedly face painful and uncomfortable experiences, however, the extent to which you suffer from the pain or discomfort lies in your hands. You have the power to manage and reduce your suffering so that you can open yourself to more joy, ease, and freedom in life.

Juliette Brown, Intern Therapist with Catalyss Counseling in Denver, Colorado

about me:

I am a Colorado native who loves to get outside and connect with the natural world. I live in Denver with my partner and our dog, who both bring me endless joy, silliness, and love. I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA, and completed a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. I am a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) and am passionate about the power of mindfulness practices to support optimal health and well-being.

My approach to healing is holistic, in that I believe all dimensions of our health are interconnected and there are countless tools and practices that can support a person’s wellbeing. I also believe that our connection to the natural world can be a powerful source of healing and often incorporate ecotherapy or nature-based therapy into my work with my clients. I am committed to integrating social justice and cultural humility into my personal life and professional endeavors, and recognize that I have much to learn from others with diverse identities and life experiences. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, seeing live music, and spending quality time with friends and family.
