who I work with:

I help adults, healthcare workers, and caregivers manage anxiety, emotional exhaustion, burnout, and perfectionism so you can boost your self-worth, focus on self-care, and restore joy to your life and relationships.

You might be feeling overwhelmed and drained, stuck in a cycle of saying “yes” to everyone else but “no” to your own needs. Caregivers like yourself often put others’ needs above their own. Your feelings of exhaustion from the pressure to meet everyone's expectations, while your own desires and needs are left unspoken, seem endless. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, grief, trauma, or overwhelm, you may experience a sense of loss, feeling empty and disconnected from others, as if you’ve forgotten who you are outside your roles.

You are constantly busy, and maybe even no longer find joy in your hobbies. You’re struggling to manage stress, break the cycle of anxiety, and fight with feelings of depression and loneliness. If you are longing to connect with yourself, life, and loved ones again, know that you’re not alone. You don't have to carry the weight by yourself. I can help!

how therapy with me can help you:

Therapy is a time-out from life just for YOU. Together, we will deeply explore your experiences, emotions, and goals. By understanding your core self, you can begin to free yourself from the patterns that leave you feeling depleted and disconnected from your true self and others. Therapy with me can help you discover underlying beliefs, desires, and fears that prevent you from setting boundaries, discovering your own self-worth, and living authentically.

With this insight, you’ll begin to build resilience, helping you make healthy choices without guilt, build self-care practices that are realistic and sustainable, reconnect with personal values, and rediscover a sense of joy and personal fulfillment. I work from a holistic perspective to integrate your mind, body, and spirituality. Utilizing my personal and professional experience in burnout, we can use mindfulness based techniques like meditation, guided imagery, and sensory awareness to provide lasting peace and resolution.

about me:

I am a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Regis University. With over two decades of work experience in the medical field, I have come to believe science does not have all the answers we seek during our lifetime. I believe connection to the Earth and nature provides healing, am committed to advocacy for the Earth and all its inhabitants, and integrate social justice and cultural humility into my personal and professional life. I am trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and have an interest in eco-therapy, mindfulness, and all manner of spiritual beliefs. My goal is to create a brave space where you are supported, seen, and heard. I believe in the power of your potential, and that healing and growth is possible, even if right now it feels impossible.

Growing up in South Texas, I loved spending my youth on my Papa’s orchards and farm, and continue to find joy and peace outdoors and connecting with the natural world. As a pianist and former dancer, I love music and movement as healing and energetic practices. I enjoy traveling, college football, live music, hiking, researching the metaphysical, and spending time with friends, my partner John and our cat Charlie.
