who I work with:

I help adults including hard-working professionals, parents, and pregnant and postpartum women who are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or having relationship struggles to find ways to get relief and bring balance back into their lives.

Many of my clients experience anxiety or grief as a result of major life changes like becoming a parent, starting or ending a relationship or marriage, a significant loss, or even figuring out how to manage ADHD/Autism in a neurotypical world. Are you feeling lost or overwhelmed with adjusting to something new in your life? Does the world not work the way you think and experience life?

My clients also tend to explore their personal identity and find new meaning in their lives and relationships as they navigate changes and even different cultures. Have you been questioning who you are and what your life’s purpose is? Do you feel disconnected from loved ones but don’t know how to strengthen these relationships?

If any of this resonates with you, you’re not alone in feeling this way - I can help!

how therapy with me can help you:

I will provide a safe space for you to express your thoughts and feelings and to explore the challenges that you are facing. Together, we will find healthy solutions to manage the stress, anxiety, and/or grief symptoms that you are currently experiencing. I will also help you gain insight on how things in your past may be affecting the present so you can make more meaningful decisions that align with what you want for yourself.

If you are trying to conceive, are pregnant, have experienced pregnancy or infant loss, are in the postpartum period, or are a parent, I have specialized training in perinatal mental health and parenting. Therapy with me will invite you to process feelings, improve coping strategies, and foster emotional well-being during these times in your life.

about me:

I am originally from Hong Kong and also grew up in Australia and the US.  My immigration and cultural experiences have shaped who I am today and how I approach life and my work as a therapist. I am a strong advocate for social justice and embrace diversity and respect individual differences. This motivates me to provide services with cultural and social awareness and sensitivity. I have worked with individuals of all ages in many settings including community-based mental health agencies, education, inpatient and outpatient medical settings, hospice, and organizations for individuals with disabilities. I use a holistic, individualized approach to better understand who you are and what you need to achieve your goals. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, trying different cuisines, working on my veggie garden in the summer, and traveling.

Fun Fact:  I love to learn and one hobby that I’ve been working on the past few years is how to grow a variety of new fruits, vegetables, and flowers in my garden over the summer!
